Most of us are guilty of spending too much time working at computers and using devices. 
 
Tech neck is a condition caused by prolonged forward head posture whilst using electronic devices, or whilst students are revising for upcoming exams.

Tech Neck Key symptoms; 


Neck and shoulder pain sometimes radiating down the arm 
Headaches 
Stiffness it limited neck mobility 
Headaches 
 


How to overcome Tech Neck; 


Posture correction. Keep screens at eye level Move regularly shifting positions every 45 mins  
Work to activate your core (a stronger stability system protects your spine) 
Stretching exercises for around your neck and pec muscles help yo improve posture 
If uncomfortable a heat pad can also help 
 
If you are uncomfortable or sore hands on physiotherapy and advise from SPEAR  can sort you out.  
A SPEAR sports massage can also be very beneficial to aid recovery
