Catherine

SPECIALIST MUSCULOSKELETAL PHYSIOTHERAPIST

Catherine graduated from the University of Essex with a first class degree in physiotherapy and joins Spear with 5 years’ clinical experience. Having completed her NHS rotations in England, Catherine went on to work for two private practices in London and Essex focussing on complex paediatric care and sports injury rehabilitation. Catherine has worked alongside advanced clinical professionals and orthopaedic consultants in specialist NHS settings, supporting both adults and children through complex rehabilitation and injury prevention programmes. Her experience working to support individuals with neurological conditions at home and in hospital has helped her to understand the challenging nature of life after injury.

Catherine has developed a broad set of clinical skills in both acute & rehabilitation settings and comes to Spear following 2 years in a small specialist children’s ward, deepening her knowledge of paediatric physiotherapy. Catherine has completed additional training in sports massage therapy and APPI Pilates which she implement’s to provide thorough assessment and long lasting results. Now located in Aberdeen, Catherine’s love for activity and the outdoors helps to support and inspire her patients with her rehabilitation no matter what age or ability.
