Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist
Stefan graduated from Glasgow Caledonian University with a First-Class Honours degree in Physiotherapy. During his time at University Stefan had the opportunity to work with the medical department at Falkirk FC. Here, Stefan was involved in the rehabilitation of injured players and in S&C to improve on-pitch performance. This early exposure to professional sports equipped Stefan with an understanding of sporting injuries and rehabilitation.
Prior to joining SPEAR, Stefan worked with Queen’s Park FC’s academy alongside medical and coaching staff to deliver sport-specific rehabilitation to the academy players. He was also involved in pitch-side first aid at the academy games, assessing and administering treatment to players as required. This has given Stefan an extensive background in treating sport-specific conditions in children and adults.
Stefan has also previously worked as a healthcare support worker within the NHS. Here he developed his skills in working with people in chronic pain and those with life-altering conditions. As a result of this Stefan is apt at treating individuals from a variety of backgrounds from sporting injuries to chronic conditions.
Stefan is passionate about delivering physiotherapy with a people-centred approach, tailoring treatment plans to each individual’s specific needs and preferences.
In his spare time, Stefan enjoys playing football, going to the gym and running.
