SPEAR Performance

Service

Assess. Train. Progress.

Whether you want to improve your sporting performance, get stronger, become more powerful or simply better understand your physical capabilities, SPEAR Performance can help.

We combine objective performance testing, personalised exercise programming, Strength & Conditioning and body composition assessment to help you understand where you are now and what you need to work on next.

Our services are for everyone who wants to improve their physical performance, from people who enjoy training and staying active through to competitive and professional athletes.

General Performance Assessment

You don’t need to play a sport to benefit from Performance testing.

If you’re generally active, regularly train or simply want to understand and improve your physical capabilities, we can assess a range of performance domains to build an overall physical profile.

This can include areas such as strength, power, reactive strength, balance and side-to-side differences, with the assessment tailored to your individual goals.

Sport-Specific Performance Assessment

If you participate in a particular sport, your assessment can be tailored to the physical qualities that matter most for that activity.

We can provide sport-specific Performance Assessments for football, golf, running, dance and other sports and activities, selecting the most appropriate testing battery based on the physical demands of your sport and your individual goals.

Using VALD performance technology alongside gym and field-based testing, we select the tests most relevant to you and what you want to achieve.

60-Minute Performance Assessment | £90

Recommended for your first assessment.

A comprehensive assessment allowing us to evaluate multiple physical qualities and build a detailed picture of your current performance.

45-Minute Performance Assessment | £75

A more focused assessment particularly suited to repeat testing, monitoring progress and smaller testing batteries.

Start With the Right Assessment

Performance testing provides objective information about your current physical capabilities and helps identify your strengths and areas for development.

Your assessment can take one of two approaches:

Change of Direction

How effectively can you decelerate, redirect and re-accelerate?

Conditioning

How well can you meet the physical demands of your activity or sport?
