Specialist Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist
Beth graduated from Robert Gordon University in with a BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy in 2020. During her studies she completed her Sports Massage qualification.
Following university, Beth spent two valuable years in the NHS where she completed various Physiotherapy rotations gaining experience across a range of specialities including orthopaedic trauma, musculoskeletal outpatients, acute respiratory care, community and care of the elderly. Most recently, Beth worked as a Physiotherapist for Aberdeen Football Club for 4 years where she provided high level individualised rehabilitation to both full-time and part-time players, ensuring they were able to return to the demands of elite sport. In this role she gained a vast amount of experience assessing, treating and rehabilitating a wide range of sport specific injuries in both the men’s and women’s game.
Beth has a strong interest in sports rehabilitation, injury prevention and developing patients while they are injured. Beth has extensive experience in delivering position specific pitch-based rehabilitation which ensures an easier return to the demands of sport for the patient. Beth combines a hands-on approach with targeted exercise prescription, providing a holistic approach and enjoys enabling her patients achieve their goals.
Outside of her physiotherapy work, Beth enjoys keeping active by playing golf and cycling. Previously she has represented Aberdeen in the Women’s Premier League and was selected to represent the North of Scotland at multiple camps. Having played football at a high level, Beth understands the demands of sport, making her well placed to ensure a smooth return from injury.
